The Berean Tape Recording Ministry

The Berean Tape Recording Ministry Library started in 1953 when Charles H. Welch recorded a message at the home of his friends in England. Following a visit to America by Mr. Welch in 1955, the U.S.A. Library was established in California but is now located in Tempe, Arizona.

The Library emphasizes four basic principles:

• The inspiration of all Scripture.
• The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
• The absolute necessity for and the all sufficiency of Christ's one sacrifice.
• The necessity to "rightly divide the Word."

The Library urges those who listen to emulate the believers at Berea (Acts 17:11). Bereans there received the Word with all readiness of mind and searched the Scriptures daily whether those things were so. They had heard something new to them from the Apostle Paul.

Bereans receive what credible witnesses declare to be the truth of God, then search and see, taking nothing for granted.
